NYAA Meetings

The NYAA holds regular monthly meetings that typically include a presentation on an Astronomical theme, with interesting ideas ranging from inviting professional astronomers to present their research data, to members demonstrating their equipment or techniques they use for observing, from describing recent outings to far away lands (Eclipse chasing), to images taken by members in their own backyards.  A diverse variety of topics are covered in meetings, which are followed by a social outing to a local restaurant.

Meetings are scheduled to coincide with the full moon, from September through June and usually begin at 7:30pm.  See our Events Calendar for our schedule of club activities and meetings.
